Steven Scicluna (Malta, 1984) is a graphic artist and illustrator currently based in Valencia, Spain.

A varied background that includes studies in fine art, graphic design and a degree in illustration (UCA, UK) together with years of pracitising graffiti art, has resulted in a visual language that is largely iconographic in nature, and that makes use of simple shapes, bold colour, patterns and geometery.

The outer (public) and inner (personal) worlds are recurring themes in Steven’s work, as it seeks to reconcile, contrast or observe parallels between them. Due to this, his work often takes inspiration from sources as diverse as vernacular architecture, botany, mysticism and anthropological themes.

Steven is also the creator of the Objekts, a series of hand-crafted, wooden, geometric sculptures that were successfully crowdfunded via Kickstarter in April 2018.
