Alphabeticon
Alphabeticon is a set of paintings exploring symbolism and simple aesthetics. An exhibition of the same title showing these paintings was held in London.
The paintings attempt to test human conceptions of mystery and divinity through simple compositions built from the most basic elements of classical architecture, archaic symbols, shapes and geometry. These paintings went on to be developed into the Objekt sculpture collection.
